Controversial Cream or Delectable Delight?

Ice cream usually causes smiles and happiness, not uproar and petition. This uproar and petition comes after Ben & Jerry's came out with a new limited batch flavor, Schweddy Balls. It sure isn't the vanilla ice cream and malted milk balls that has caused this, but the name of it that has caused this. Inspired by the Saturday Night Live sketch, it was announced by the Vermont ice cream creators back in September. It was quickly turned down by OneMillionMoms.com, who said, "The vulgar new flavor has turned something as innocent as ice cream into something repulsive. Not exactly what you want a child asking for at the supermarket." Ben and Jerry's has released other controversial ice creams in the past too, like the limited edition of Chubby Hubby known as Hubby Hubby. This celebrated gay marriage in 2010 and didn't get a warm welcome. Moms have actually contacted Ben and Jerry's on the subject. It won't be available much longer, if you can find it, so try and get your hands on some Schweddy Balls Ice Cream from Ben and Jerry's.
